Although it was a blue Monday, but had a shopping spree, felt satisfied and happy with ma hauls.

Got a few items for the eyes and lots more other stuffs, shall post the others later.

I have always wished and longed for curled eyelashes, but mine is a straight and short like any other Asian eyelashes. Had tried to put on fake ones but every time it was either unsuccessful or felt too weird on my eyes. In the end i just stick to mascara, but mascara just won't give you the dramatic look.

I was at far east and came across this shop which sells all kinds of eyes 'gadget'.Bought a eyelash holder, to guide in putting the lash to the eyelid, there is a black glue that can also acts like an eyeliner.. Sound simple to do, yet to try out. The SA recommended these as i wanted a more natural look.

The transparent bottle is the eyelash essence that will help grow the lashes and prevents from dropping, hopefully.

Averie is 4 months old

Averie turned 4 months old yesterday 15/Dec. Currently she is learning how
to turn over, of cos with the help of mommy and daddy. As her neck is still not strong enough, it is rather difficult for her. There was once she was trying to turn side way but was unable to lie on the tummy and got frustrated and angry.

I wonder why babies at such young age has tempers..She can now makes lots
of funny noises. Likes to suck her hands and fingers, i had stopped wearing mittens for her, to let her feel the different objects and texture. 

Right now she is sound asleep, but by 10pm i shall feed her. Well goodnight my little precious.

Round up of the 2 weekends

These are the goodies that were bought over the last 2 weeks. My Beauty Diary face mask from Taiwan. Guardian is currently importing this brand. Got to know the brand from Choc magazine. Flower and fruits flavors with colorful packaging. Canmake Gokubuto mascara, paul & joe lipstick in wine red, the tsumori chisato for shu uemura rouge unlimited lipstick and the gel eyeliner in brown. The cleansing oil was the lucky draw from the purchase of any tsumori chisato items.

Lately i have a liking for the adidas jackets. Bought 2 pieces in a month. This black color was bought last Sunday at the bugis adidas shop. I have another design in white currently sitting in my office.

Zi Ying has been coughing for more than a week and is still not recovering. Really pains me when she coughs till her face is red and seems so choking. Such an young age and have to take coughing medication. I feel so sad.

Hello kitty again

so while i was at Taka sanrio gift gate, i got these 2, the 2009 x'mas mobile phone charm and the 35th anniversary ribbon pen. Since i have not been buying pen for the past few months, it's time for me to get a new one.

last sat was the last day of the kittylab discount tix, whereby there is a 20% if you spent $60 and 10% at $35. These 2 mini stuffs already cost me almost $40.

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Hello kitty, Sanrio and allrightreserved bring you a brand-new adventure for the 4th collaboration. A mysterious lab is hidden at the concept store, where an experimental city built by Dr. kitty is located. While you enter the city and venture to get a kitty ID.

It's a pity that photo is not allowed in the lab. There are lots of kawaii displays. This was taken outside the lab.

Weekend outing

Before I went to my good friend house warming bbq party, we wnet to Tangs for shopping, bought some lingeries and a chanel m/u base. I like Tangs X'mas window display. The color theme is of black and gold, very classy.

Averie was wearing a pink 'I love daddy' suit. I love the color. She is turning 3 months this Sunday 15/Nov. These days, she loves to suckle her mittens just like having a drum stick.

The pair of mittens was soaked with her saliva. The top pic was taken at my gf bed.

The dog & The cat mug & plush

Giant supermart is having the stamp collection promotion to get the dog/cat mug & plush for free. Every $30 spent in a single receipt will entitle a stamp. Collect 16 stamps and will get a set of the dog/cat free. There are a total of 12 collectible plush/mugs.
I got the Persian cat. I also like the Pomeranian plush. Maybe i will just buy at $29.9 for that set.

Averie's new hair cut

My 3 months maternity leaves ended on the last Sunday and started work on Monday. While in office, i missed ma precious, bao bei.

With her new hair cut, does she looks like a boy.

Hello kitty 35th Anniversary

Last weekend 24 Oct, Takashimaya was having Hello kitty 35th anniversary sales. I was rather dissappointed with the items and bought none. Mostly clearance stock of stationery, kids apparel etc. I then went to kino and got this 35th anni bag. The package comes with a bag and illustration of HK over the years from the 70s to 2009. All in japanese, but just looking at the pictures are good enough.

Chocolate from Meji. Sweet package and delicious chocolate with strawberry, banana & vanilla flavors.

Benefit Haul

I bought these 2 weeks ago from Sephora Ion, I especially love the perfume as it has the jasmine fragrance. My eye bags and dark circles are getting real bad, no matter how hard i try to cover, it's of no use. Best is to get a surgery :P

The engorgement

This morning i woke up in pain due to breast engorgement. No matter how i massaged or expressed, the milk just won't flow out and the pain is unbearable. My pain threshold is very low, out of 10, i grade myself 0-2.

Went to see GP for some pain killer and for releasing the engorgement. In the end i decided to stop the milk flow and was prescribed with medication. After 2 months of breast feeding (expressing), i finally gave up. Although, i feel guilty of not continuing, at least i still gave her my milk for 2 months.

In 1 weeks time, i will be back to work, and my working place is not convenient to express, and it's my intention to stop, giving myself excuse to stop :P Am i a bad mother?!

Averie is 2 months old

Zi Ying is 2 months old and has growth a fair bit. She is wearing baby pooh pajamas suit.

She is able to respond quite well when you make funny faces and talks to her. Sometimes her grin is so adorable and that makes my heart melts.

Russian - Matryoshka Doll

Atlas, I received this blue matryoshka wristlet yesterday thru needlelovesthread. I have a liking of the russian dolls of the colorful dressing.
I came across needlelovesthread when i was at cineleisure during July for a movie. They were having a push cart selling handicrafts, and i instantly love this colorful pouch, it cost $25 and the fabric was from Japan, think is quite reasonable for the cost.

CD Haul

I was at Tangs yesterday due to BB had a service call at Mt E. Shopping with Averie alone is not an easy task. I have to always peep at her inside the pram to see if she is making a fuss.

Bought the latest collection of Diorskin Nude. I have been using compact foundation and now wanting to have a change to liquid foundation. Read up a blogger and the TW magazine of this Nudeskin L/F and the review is good. Got the loose powder to go with the L/F. The SA gave a complimentary brush for the loose powder. Also bought the new lip treatment lipstick with serum that so called help to minimise lines.

The SA gave some age defense samples to try on.

My new stash - HK & cosmetic

The Sanrio year 2010 date book / Diary is out and i got the Charmmy kitty cover date book. I had been using the date book since 2007 and is very useful for scheduling and record events. My friend currently staying in France has asked me to get a copy for her and i got the HK cover for her.

I also bought a thermal flask for my office use when i will be back during end of Oct. Note pads too for office use, probably i wont use it cos it's just too cute.

During my confinement month, my cousin of good will help me to get the Jill stuart Fall collection E/S 08 Dazzling moon and the compact blusher 01 baby blush. The packaging is so princess like. I have also got the Dior Summer collection 5 color E/S which I missed when i was in Tangs during Aug. So my cousin helped to get the pc in Taka. There after last Sat went shopping with my princess & BB again i got the new MM new series Blusher and the lip gloss in honey. The blusher is a pale pink, more towards a hi-lighter.

My Zi Ying is 6 weeks old

This week Zi ying is 6 weeks old and she is getting more and more cute. Haha how can a mother praise her own child.

Now she just woke up and making a fuss, probably wanting me to carry her.
